Today was a busy, busy day for the girls. The day started early with a birthday party for one of Mackenzie's new classmates. It was held at Pump It Up, which is a giant warehouse full of inflatable slides, mazes, and bounce houses. Megan was able to tag along to the party because we had to be at the festival shortly after the party. The girls had a great time playing and jumping. Megan even challenged me to a game of air hockey, I look back and wonder if I should have let her win! Shortly after the party we headed to Featherly Park for the Wishland Family Festival. The girls continued their great day with more slides and bounce houses, but also got to enjoy a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, art, BBQ, games, cotton candy, hair coloring, and the highlight of the day, the butterfly release. It was such a hot day but it didn't seem to bother the girls who ran from one thing to another. They are already excited to go again next year.
